The VFA-147 Argonauts are an attack fighter squadron flying the F-18 Hornet.  They F-18 is a multipurpose fighter and attack aircraft.  It’s roll in this wing is to be in its attack roll and close air support primarily, but pilots are still proficient in air-to-air engagement.
